“ Very cute little restaurant with reasonable prices! The food was delicious, we had salami plate which was very very nice and pasta (homemade) which was also delicious and fresh! The owners are so cute, wife makes fresh pasta and husband serves the food ”
“ Best meal I've had in Italy! The owner & his wife are so friendly & very accommodating for my nut allergy. My pasta was literally made upon my order. It is a must to come here if you are in Tuscany. ”
“ YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE! It’s a little hole in the wall and you will probably walk past it at first. The food is simple but absolutely amazing. We had all the pasta dishes, they were incredible. And the ice cream with balsamico was so good. It is a family run business run by man and wife and the service really reflects all the love they have for food. Super small prices as well, we almost couldn’t believe it. I would eat here every day if we were staying in Siena. Unfriendly we are not, but we will consider driving the 30 minutes to this place again just for the pasta and ice cream and friendly smiles. ”
“ Had a wonderful dining experience at Tigella EMILIA! The signature tigella bread was warm, soft, and full of flavor — perfect with the cold cuts and cheese. The highlight for me was the pappardelle al ragù: rich, hearty sauce and perfectly cooked pasta, honestly one of the best I’ve had in Italy. Prices are very fair, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Highly recommended! ”
“ As a chef with more than 17 years of experience working in professional kitchens and now creating high-end, personalized dining experiences, I deeply value when the owners themselves cook and run the restaurant. This was, without a doubt, the best meal we’ve had in Italy during our three-week trip. The pasta was cooked to absolute perfection, the flavors were exquisite, the bread served at the beginning was amazing, and the tiramisù was simply unmatched. The service is warm and personal, full of passion. It’s worth noting that during very busy times, the food may take a little longer to arrive — but every second is worth the wait. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly authentic culinary experience, where every dish is made with heart and soul. ”
“ Simply no fiddling here. The real deal. Simple but good. Home made pasta by the wife, host is the husband. Worth a visit. Don’t be intimidated by the somewhat cantine vibe. It’s clean and well maintained. The host is friendly and polite. Just enjoy this very affordable pasta! ”
“ This restaurant offers some of the best northern Italian cuisine you’ll find in this area!!! Everything was traditional and simple, yet rich in flavor. They also served Lambrusco wine, which is definitely worth trying. ”
“ Such a hidden gem! Husband & wife owned restaurant, and the wife cooks the pasta fresh in-house. The most delicious dish I’ve had in Italy thus far! Also their homemade bread was simple but delicious. The owners are super friendly and warm too! ”
